The difference between water transfer and thermal transfer:
1.Water transfer is derived from the printing process and uses the principle of molecular diffusion to transfer the pattern (transfer film) to the article. Thermal transfer is achieved by thermal transfer by hot sol or by absorption of sublimation ink by the thermal transfer coating.
2. Heat transfer needs to be achieved by heating devices, while water transfer requires only water; at the same time, the pattern to be transferred in thermal transfer is generally left and right mirrored, while water transfer is a front image.
Their respective advantages and disadvantages:
1. Water transfer printing: environmental protection, high efficiency and protection of the product surface and its integrity.
2. Heat transfer printing: anti-corrosion, anti-impact, anti-aging, wear-resisting, fireproof, and keep 15 years of discoloration when used outdoors.
Water transfer printing is mainly used for the transfer of various types of ceramics and cellophane paper.
Heat transfer printing is applied to the printing of flat and curved surfaces of various plastic, wood, ceramic, metal, glass and other products. It is widely used in cosmetics, toys, electrical appliances, building materials, gifts, food packaging, stationery and other industries.
